Peachy Keen Stamps' Spring Fling Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog! If you came here from the talented Copic Artist Lorie, then you are in the right spot.  If you just arrived here you might want to start at the top of the hop,Peachy Keen Stamps.

I love creating with spring colors.  For my project, I cut out 3-D letters on my Silhouette Cameo and decorated them with spring images. Before sealing the letters closed, I added sand  in a plastic bag to give them each some weight  The letters are decorated with die cuts (from Cricut's Create A Critter) and a collection of face stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps. The flowers have faces from PK-182 Sweet and Silly Face Assortment.  The worm and chick are stamped with PK-754 Critter Faces.  The last face stamp set that was used is PK-180 Erkle and Merkle Face Assortment on the flying bug. I just love to look at those sweet and happy faces!

Imaginisce April Monthly Challenge

Hello! The Imaginisce blog has a new sketch challenge. You can create a layout, card, or other type of project following the sketch at their blog. The theme is spring and you must use pastel colors and ribbon or twine.

I thought my new bird stamp seemed like he was ready for spring. I pulled some Imaginisce pattern paper from my stash and made a yellow brad with the i-top tool for the center of the flower.

Create a project with a "Rainy Day" theme. I found this adorable SVG cutting file at Lettering Delights, Weather Girl.  VERY impressed with the files I have from Lettering Delights as they layer so nicely.  I matched her with a Peachy Keen Face, PK-1200 Moodies Face Assortment.

Yield to Driver

Hello- My hubby has a an April birthday and I love to make custom cards.  My husband has a similar sense of humor and enjoyed cartoons from The Far Side, by Gary Larson. I crafted this card with my Cricut, with a joke from The Far Side.  The "godzilla" is from Create A Critter.  The car and card base are from Smiley Cards.  I hand cut the window trim on the car to make the driver look larger than life. Well, this card cracks me up!

Eyes are from PK-751
license plate printed from computer

If you like to make cards with "jokes" on them, pop on over to the Fantabulous Cricut's Challenge this week.  You can share your card with other Cricut fans and have a chance to win a gift certificate from ScrapbookPal !

The Organized Tooth Fairy

Hello! I wanted to join the Peachy Keen Challenge this week, which is a baby themed 3-d Challenge.  I found this super cute "Tooth Fairy Kit" that I thought my niece would enjoy as she has a new baby girl. There is something about a tiny pillow box that is so adorable. I used the print and cut feature on my Silhouette to create the Certificate.  Face stamps from  PK-293 Cornies Face Assortment are stamped on the tooth cuts. I picked this set because of the 1/4" face that was used on the smallest teeth.

I hope you have time to enter your project by April 3, midnight EST.  Hope your week is going great!

Sweet Life Mini Album

Welcome! Today I have a project made with soon to be released Stamp Club set from Peachy Keen Stamps, PKSC-16.  My project was inspired by the bee and the garden themed stamps. The bee is cut with the matching SVG set and she is on a action wobble for extra bee action. The mini album is a bee hive cut, that I found on Cricut's Walk in My Garden cartridge.
The Bee, flowers, and sign over the hive door are from PKSC-16
letter stickers spell  "Sweet Life"
The fence was made with coffee stir sticks.

Miss Buzzy bee on her action wobble.

The bee hive is included in PKSC-16.
These are pictures of my Roses... and I have had a bee hive
or two pop in my yard. (They are not as pleasant as Peachy Keen's
bee hive,)  Small sticker bees are added around the hive.

PKSC-16's watering can and butterflies.

The large daisy is from PKSC-16. I added a "stem" made from trim and
a silk leaf. The flower was colored to  match the paper collection.

Two little "blue bird sisters" are sitting in their next. There are
some darling birds in this set!
Supplies
Pattern Paper- American Crafts, Dear Lizzy
Buttons and Die Cut Shapes- American Crafts, Dear Lizzy
